People often think cleaning is simple. Spray, scrub, done. But when you're asked to clean a place like ONGC's Management Development Facility in South Goa, you quickly realize—it's not just cleaning. It's trust.
I'm Sandeep from Ecoclean Systems & Solutions, Panaji, and my team and I recently executed a deep cleaning project at ONGC's Management Development Facility located at Kital, Canaguinum, inside their Advanced Training Institute campus. This isn't just any building. This is where ONGC trains professionals in safety, health, and environment practices for some of the most high-risk industries in the country.
So yeah - standards here are high. Really high.
From day one, I knew this job wasn't about “looking clean.” It was about doing things the right way. Planning every step. Using the right machines. Following safety rules without shortcuts. And respecting the space we were working in.
The facility has training halls, conference rooms, washrooms, corridors, fabric walls, glass surfaces, and an external façade that faces harsh coastal weather. All of these areas are used regularly, which means dirt builds up in layers you don't notice until you go deep.
That's exactly what we did.
We cleaned the external and internal façade, removing dust, algae, moss, and stains from glass, ACP panels, stone, concrete, and painted surfaces—only in approved and accessible areas, of course. Inside, we deep-cleaned training halls and conference rooms, focusing on floors, furniture, glass, and all those high-touch spots people forget about.
Corridors and common areas were mechanised, washrooms were fully descaled, disinfected, and sanitized, and the fabric walls and upholstery were shampooed and vacuum-extracted. Even the glass surfaces got special attention. No rush. No compromise.
What matters most in a place like ONGC is safety. My team worked with proper PPE, controlled chemical usage, and constant supervision. There's no room for casual mistakes in a PSU environment—and honestly, that's how it should be everywhere.
Was it easy? No. Was it satisfying? Absolutely.
We completed the job within the agreed timeline, without disturbing daily activities, and handed over a facility that felt fresher, cleaner, and ready for people to walk in and focus on learning.
For me, this project wasn't just another checkbox. It was proof that Ecoclean can handle high-end, high-expectation projects with confidence. We're not here to cut corners. We're here to raise standards.
